AMR History
Company
president Shirley Barton created American Medical Review after she
saw how much money hospitals were losing due to errors in charging,
billing, and documentation. Ms. Barton states that because of her
experience in the healthcare and insurance industries she decided
to start a company that not only educates hospitals but also recovers
their lost revenue.
Today, AMR's review of insurance contracts and patient billing
records has recovered millions for hospitals. One of the keys to
their success is that AMR educates hospitals to enhance their ability
to save and recover revenue.
Ms. Barton has spent over 18 years developing quality in-depth
relationships with many hospitals.
